Together Again
Demonstrating the cultural correlations between the Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot communities in the context of the optimistic course of reunification discourse on the island, the Loukia & Michael Zampelas Art Museum is hosting a bicommunal ceramic art exhibition, aptly entitled Together Again.
The exhibition, which will run from January 18 to January 30, has brought together ceramicists of both Greek-Cypriot and Turkish-Cypriot nationality, showing the diverse features of contemporary ceramic art in Cyprus.
Twenty artists present their new body of work centred upon ceramic installations, as well as geometric and abstract ceramic forms.
The joint exhibition was previously held at Saçaklı Ev Müzesi, a cultural space in Nicosia. It is curated by Vassos Demetriou and Semral Öztan with the support of the Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education and Culture.
