Deloitte Announces the Launch of Deloitte Academy

Deloitte announced the official launch of Deloitte Academy with its operations coming into action with immediate effect.

The announcement was made by Deloitte’s CEO, Christis Christoforou during a special event, held at Deloitte’s offices in Nicosia.

During the event, Christoforou noted that the establishment of Deloitte Academy is another important firm initiative that stimulates innovation and an upgrade in the firm’s service and product offerings as part of the organisation’s broader transformational journey. This also reflects the firm’s aspiration to become the undisputed leader in professional services.

“Our vision for Deloitte Academy is, through its events and keynote speakers, to become a platform which will encourage conversation and knowledge sharing amongst peers, helping executives such as yourselves, stay on top of global market trends and best practices”, said Christoforou.

To mark the establishment of Deloitte Academy, Deloitte invited Herman Van Rompuy, President Emeritus of European Council as the guest of honour. Van Rompuy discussed his thoughts on Brexit and the impact on the European Union and the Banking and Financial Sector.
