It can be argued that the mission of contemporary artists is, through a dynamic combination of materials, methods, concepts, and subjects, to manage to challenge traditional boundaries, defy easy definition, and stir curiosity and dialogue surrounding their works.
Within this concept, GOLD attended a unique contemporary exhibition, held at Almyra Hotel in Paphos. Aiming at the practical and timeless support of the artistic community of Cyprus, Almyra Hotel in collaboration with Isnotgallery, is currently hosting the "Island" group exhibition of contemporary art from July 23 to August 31, 2022.

Isnotgallery is organizing, curating and presenting the works of 18 contemporary artists, including photographic and visual installations, paintings, sculptures and contemporary ceramics.
As part of the exhibition, the artists (Kris Betta, Spyros Agathou, Andros Efstathiou, Elina Theodotou, Marios Theofilidis, Yiannos Ioannou, Eleni Kindini, Mariella Bilitsa, Vrasidas Neophytou, Haroula Nikolaidou, Thekla Papadopoulou, Elena Parouti, Despina Petridou, Andreas Skoufaris, Vania Sergiou - Souroulla, Konstantinos Stefanou, Panicos Tempriotis and Antonis Tziaridis) have transformed the common areas of the hotel with their creations, coloring every corner with personality and authenticity.

The visitors who choose to attend will find themselves entranced with the diverse and eclectic mix of the various creations. Using the works as means of communication and expression, artists and visitors will be enthused by the same stimuli, creating different images and memories inspired by the natural beauties of our island.
Almyra's collaboration with Isnotgallery confirms the continuous and uninterrupted support of the hotel towards the artistic community of Cyprus, as well as the desire of the organizers to highlight the artists they represent, creating a broader, constructive and direct channel of communication with society as a whole.

It deserves to be noted that over time, the hotel has transformed its facilities into a place of hospitality for artists and works of contemporary art, playing an active role in the cultural scene of Paphos, since, in addition to being a place of leisure, it also functions as a meeting and communication center for all its guests.
