The Rise Of IT Security Threats And The Need For Data Protection

The Rise Of IT Security Threats And The Need For Data Protection

In the last few years, cyber threats have risen exponentially, forcing organizations to find ways to adapt and protect themselves and their clients. COVID-19, repeated lockdowns, and the sudden increase in the numbers of people working from home has pushed several organizations to switch to a digital working environment, without having the appropriate security systems in place.

In order to help organizations navigate the complexities of this new reality, BDO is organizing the Information Security & Data Privacy Conference on Wednesday, 15 September 2021, 08:30-13:00 at the Hilton Nicosia. The Conference will discuss security and privacy issues, with distinguished speakers from Cyprus and abroad.

Featured Speakers include:

  • Dr Alexis Michael, Head of Technology Risk Advisory, BDO
  • Andreas Iacovou, Team Coordinator, Incident Management Supervisor, National CSIRT-CY
