Techisland Welcomes The Approved Incentive Package For Attracting Companies In Cyprus

The Board of Directors of TechIsland, warmly welcomes today’s announcement by the Cypriot Minister of Finance Mr. Constantinos Petrides regarding the incentive package that was approved by the Ministerial Council for attracting companies in Cyprus.


This announcement is coming after months of preparation, during which Board Members and companies of TechIsland gave their constructive feedback and consultation to the Government, in order to create the competitive incentives package that will allow the faster growth of Tech companies in Cyprus, and at the same time Tech companies to relocate to the country.


Regarding the announcement, Mr. Alexey Gubarev, Co-Founder of Palta and founding Member of TechIsland stated ‘The announced incentive package is a great step towards the vision of establishing Cyprus among the top tech hub destinations, not only at a European level but also globally’. Adding to this, Petr Valov – CEO at Exness stated that ‘We welcome today’s announcement by the Government, as it reflects the understanding of the challenges that the tech companies share, in order to accelerate their growth and at the same time to have a positive impact on the Cypriot economy’.


TechIsland welcomes the result of the collective actions that are being taken and which are expected to accelerate the development of the sector of technology and innovation in Cyprus, a sector which TechIsland predicts to become a new main pillar for the development of the country's economy.
