Cyprus` new Foreign Minister, Ioannis Kasoulides, met on Wednesday with the Ambassadors of Greece and France in Nicosia, Ioannis Papameletiou and Salina Grenet-Catalano, respectively.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a post on its Twitter account that the Minister had a cordial meeting with the Ambassador of Greece on the occasion of undertaking his duties, and stressed the continuation of the excellent cooperation, coordination and deliberations between Nicosia and Athens.
The Ambassador of France in a post on Twitter thanked Kasoulides for receiving her right after his appointment, adding that they discussed about the goals of the French EU Presidency for a more sovereign Europe , Kasoulides` trip to France for the Gymnich meeting, the Cyprus problem, as well as the new impetus that needs to be given to the relations between France and Cyprus.
Meanwhile the US Ambassador in Nicosia, Judith Garber, in a post on Twitter congratulated the new FM and said that she looks forward to meeting him soon and working with him to build on the strong U.S.-ROC bilateral relationship
