John Christodoulou has given an online interview to the President of the National Federation of Cypriots in the UK. Christos Karaolis. The interview was part of the ‘In Conversation’ series with the participation of the Presidential Commissioner Photis Photiou and the High Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus in the UK Andreas Kakouris.
During the interview, Christodoulou, the Monaco-Cypriot successful businessman and the philanthropist, talked about his painful childhood memories of the 1974 Turkish invasion and the displacement as a refugee with his family in London which have marked his life. He has also presented briefly his remarkable career in real estate and how he managed to build the Yianis Group. In the interview, Christodoulou, talked about two crucial issues close to his heart: his charity work through the Yianis Christodoulou Foundation which aims to support vulnerable young people in need and the Cyprus problem, which in his view has to be resolved urgently.
