Salamis Suspends Cruises With C/S Salamis Filoxenia Due to Pandemic

Salamis Suspends Cruises With C/S Salamis Filoxenia Due to Pandemic

Salamis Organisation would like to inform all travellers and cruise fans that it has come to the hard yet responsible decision to suspend the cruises with c/s Salamis Filoxenia for summer 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Social responsibility, as well as the safety and health of both the crew and the passengers have been Salamis Organisation’s utmost concerns for more than 60 years.

“The global health crisis, the strict embarkation and disembarkation protocols at the ports of call, the fact that the timely vaccination of the crew was not made possible, despite it being a priority for our company, and the current unstable epidemiological situation, keeping in mind that new variants of the virus can be found in the community, have formed a combination of factors which cannot allow us to proceed smoothly in the operation of leisure voyages during this period,” the company states in a press release.

“Our aim will always be to provide the best available human-centric service to our passengers and we are hopeful that by the end of the year, the pandemic will be completely tackled with, so that we are able to announce our cruise itinerary for 2022. Until then, we are at your disposal with all travel and shipping services of the Salamis Organisation. Taking this opportunity, we would like to thank all passengers, customers, staff, crew and associates for their understanding, continuous support and trust all these years.”
