New Virtual Forum On Entrepreneurship For University Students

New Virtual Forum On Entrepreneurship For University Students

On Wednesday, May 26 and Thursday, May 27, CyprusInno will be hosting its virtual forum for university students, Opportunity from Crisis: Launching Your Innovative Idea in a Post-Pandemic World.  The free two-day virtual forum will feature a diverse lineup of expert speakers from Cyprus and around the world who will discuss topics to help inspire a new generation of young, post-crisis entrepreneurs in Cyprus.

A total of 11 speakers will participate in lightning-round talks over the two days and across six sessions:

DAY 1 - MAY 26 - 10:00 - 13:00 EEST

Session 1 - Discovering New Startup Opportunities in a Crisis

Session 2 - Launching a Business from University

Session 3 - How to Attract Investment/Fundraise

DAY 2 - MAY 27 - 10:00 - 13:00 EEST

Session 1 - Building Locally, Scaling Globally

Session 2 - Digital Marketing in the New Virtual World

Session 3 - Women in Entrepreneurship

A crisis unveils new needs, new pain points, and intensifies existing problems, leading to new opportunities for young entrepreneurs, particularly university students, to position themselves at the forefront of an era of crisis-driven innovation.  The pandemic slow-down, the birth or sudden surge of specific industries, and the prospective “ushering in” of a more prosperous post-pandemic decade creates the ideal conditions for young entrepreneurs or aspiring entrepreneurs to turn their innovative ideas into a reality.  As history shows, many new, innovative companies that we know of today were born in a time of crisis.

Register today for free at

The virtual forum is organized by CyprusInno and supported by the U.S. Embassy Cyprus.
