Fire Safety Week by CNP ASFALISTIKI and Cyprus Fire Service

For the 21st consecutive year, CNP ASFALISTIKI and Cyprus Fire Service, join forces in the common effort that aims to prevent fires and deal with them.


With the main message "Let’s not leave our dreams turn into ashes!", this year’s Fire Safety Week is organized from 16 to 22 May 2022, under the auspices of the Honourable Minister of Justice and Public Order. The Fire Safety Week kicked off with a press conference which took place on May 16, at the Headquarters of the CNP CYPRUS. Greetings were addressed by the Minister of Justice and Public Order, Ms. Stephie Dracos, the Chief of the Fire Service, Mr. Polyvios Hadjivassiliou and the General Manager of CNP ASFALISTIKI, Mr. Andreas C. Stylianou.


The main event of the Fire Safety Week will be the Fire Safety Open Day that will take place on Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 10:00 am to 13:00 at NICOSIA MALL. Αt the event, Fire Brigade vehicles and equipment will be exhibited, the children will enjoy activities especially designed for them, there will be a stilt and also a live link with CYBC. Executives from CNP ASFALISTIKI and Cyprus Fire Service will inform the participants about Fire Safety issues and will give symbolic gifts to the public.
