City Of Dreams Mediterranean Appoints Jose Diaz As Executive Chef

Melco Cyprus announces its forthcoming integrated resort (IR), City of Dreams Mediterranean, has appointed Mr. Jose Diaz as Executive Chef. With his extensive experience in the global culinary industry, Mr. Diaz will be at helm of the culinary operations of the luxury IR and contribute to Melco’s unparalleled savoir faire in world-class gastronomy. Mr. Diaz will oversee all kitchens offering international flavours and cuisines.

A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious culinary schools, Chef Diaz was named Young Chef of the Year in 2006 in Spain. He possesses more than 20 years’ experience in culinary operations across the US, Europe, Middle East, Asia and China.

Chef Diaz’s accolades also include years of experience in multi-Michelin star restaurants such as El Bulli, Alain Ducasse and most recently managing luxury food and beverage operations in world class luxury hotel groups such as Intercontinental Hotels, Marriot International, Conrad Hotels, St Regis Hotels and Capella Hotels & Resorts.
