Artemis Antoniadou Named Top Business Leader in Commercial Sector

Recognised as Business Leader in the Commercial Sector, Artemis Antoniadou Managing Director of Voici la Mode, took to the stage to accept her award at the KEBE Business Leader Awards on November 20.

Artemis Antoniadou was born in Nicosia. She is a graduate of the American Academy and holds a degree in Economics from Essex University and an MBA from City University. She is currently the Managing Director of Voici la Mode Group of Companies which owns and operates 4 Marks & Spencer stores in Nicosia, a Marks & Spencer HOME Store, the French men’s fashion franchise CELIO with 3 stores in Nicosia 1 in Limassol and 1 in Paphos, 6 Café la Mode in Nicosia and Limassol, and other smaller enterprises.

Voici La Mode has a workforce of more than 300 employees and a total retail space of 10,500sq.m., which includes Marks & Spencer stores, CELIO stores, Café la Mode and Artemisia Conference Hall. Future retail developments are under way as the Group has invested in prime locations in Nicosia and Limassol. It also operates two distribution centres which cover the needs of all outlets.

With powerful instinct, experience and knowledge and as ambassador of the European Network of Female Entrepreneurship since 2010, Antoniadou actively supports dynamic female entrepreneurship in Cyprus. At the same time, she is the President of the Artemisia Panayiotou Foundation, which was founded in 2006 in memory of her aunt and creator of the group. Its aim is to offer financial assistance to children to enable them to attend universities. So far the foundation has helped 43 children in the amount of € 200.000.


KEBE BUSINESS LEADER AWARDS:

The ΚΕΒΕ Business Leader Awards honour leadership excellence in Cyprus. Having taken place on Friday, November 20, at the Evagoras Lanitis Centre in Limassol, the awards, presented by EY, were organised by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry and IMH.

•    EY Honorary Award for Overall Contribution to Entrepreneurship
