American Presence At The 8th International Compliance Forum

Erik Woodhouse will honor the highly anticipated event with his presence.

These issues will be addressed at the much anticipated 8th International Compliance Forum presented by Bank of Cyprus. This year's event, which will take place on October 14, at the Hilton Nicosia Hotel, Nicosia, will host leading names in the industry and will touch in-depth on the trends and current state of affairs that are constantly transforming this critical industry for every business. Among others, the International Compliance Forum will welcome Erik Woodhouse, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the US Department of State - Counter Threat Finance and Sanctions Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs of the US.

Erik Woodhouse from his position at the Department oversees the Counter Threat Finance and Sanctions Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs. Prior to rejoining the US Department of State, Mr. Woodhouse was an attorney advising clients on compliance with US sanctions and anti-money laundering regulations. Previously, he served as Senior Advisor to the Under Secretary of State for International Affairs at the Department of the Treasury, where he worked on issues across a broad range of IA's international economic policy. Prior to the Treasury, Mr. Woodhouse served as an attorney-counselor in the Office of Legal Counsel at the Department of State, in connection with human rights and refugee cases and then treaty cases. Earlier in his career, he was an associate in the project finance and litigation practices of a global law firm.

This distinguished guest will come to Cyprus to address the 8th International Compliance Forum. A Forum, which is expected to bring together once again the best of the compliance management sector in Cyprus and highlight all developments in the field. The benefits of compliance management in business and their criticality to management's return on investment are key topics that will be addressed by the speakers.

On their agenda are issues regarding the role of compliance with a focus on how effective compliance management can drive businesses to success. As every time, this great event will inform businesses on everything they need to know about compliance with rules and legal obligations.
