Alphamega Hypermarkets has officially started counting down to the most wonderful time of the year. Five Alphamega stores held simultaneous Christmas tree lighting ceremonies, filled with colours, giggles and Christmas melodies, on Saturday 26 November, marking the beginning of the festive season at Alphamega Hypermarkets.  

Mix Fm Radio held five simultaneous live links from the Alphamega stores of Engomi, Lakatamia, Larnaca Central, Kapsalos and Paphos Aphrodite, with the station’s radio producers and Santa Claus, welcoming the public in a celebration filled with joy, excitement, music, treats, surprises, and fireworks and offering both children and adults a first taste of Christmas.

Games, Christmas mascots, face painting, and of course, gifts handed out by Santa Claus stirred the interest of the little guests, who are, after all, the stars of the Christmas period. The festive celebrations of Alphamega Hypermarkets also had surprises for adults, such as delicious treats and arts and crafts activities.

Meanwhile, guests were able to actively support Hope For Children by making donations on the spot or by purchasing the 2023 Calendar “If the children are saved, there is hope”.

The most impressive moment, however, was when the guests of the Engomi store had the chance to watch footage from the tree lightning ceremonies in Lakatamia, Larnaca, Kapsalos and Paphos on the giant TV screen that had been set up at the store.

The festive atmosphere was further heightened when visitors had the opportunity to watch a preview of this year’s Christmas TV spot of Alphamega Hypermarkets under the slogan “The Joy of Christmas”. The little star of the TV ad brought feelings of innocence and joy to all guests, by being mischievous and dancing around, reminding them that the festive atmosphere is always better when shared.
