11th Real Estate and Construction Conference

11th Real Estate and Construction Conference

The Real Estate and Construction sector has been showing positive signs of growth in 2017, restoring optimism to industry professionals. Once the fastest-growing and one of the most lucrative sectors of the economy, it has experienced significant challenges in recent years but is finally undergoing a revival and is once again attracting international investment and development opportunities. The annual Real Estate and Construction Conference is the largest gathering of Real Estate professionals in Cyprus, where they discuss local and international market trends and highlight problems and emerging opportunities. An important part of every Conference is the forecast for the sector.

IMH is organising the 11th Real Estate and Construction Conference on Thursday 8 June 2017, at the Hilton Park Hotel in Nicosia.

Increased demand for luxury holiday homes and office space is now being seen from buyers in the main foreign markets such as China, Russia, the UK and the United Arab Emirates. Many international investors are taking advantage of the Government’s Citizenship/Permanent Residence through Investment scheme and this, too, is bringing large amounts of capital to the Cyprus market.

Moreover, professionals in the sector are abandoning traditional perspectives and creating projects with a green energy and an environmental perspective, in line with international market trends.
