3rd Cyprus Anti-Fraud Conference

 

Bank of Cyprus presents the 3rd Cyprus Anti-Fraud Conference on Tuesday, 28 April 2020 at Hilton Nicosia. Don’t miss this much-anticipated annual event for the opportunity to hear first-hand how to better protect your business from fraud and stay up-to-date with recent anti-fraud developments. The event is co-organised by IMH and the Cyprus Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

Among this year’s speakers is Howard Cooper, Μanaging Director of the Business Intelligence and Investigations practice & Co-Head of the Global Financial Investigations practice at Kroll, a division of Duff & Phelps in the United Kingdom. During his presentation, Cooper will present different case studies to highlight a number of themes generated from his involvement in recent high profile banking fraud and money laundering investigations. He will focus on identifying the key money laundering risks to professional advisors and regulated entities. Cooper will also consider the regulatory response to the threat posed by professional money laundering networks and provide practical steps that can be undertaken to help address a number of the current money laundering risks.
