IMH is organizing the Cyprus FinTech Expo 3.0, which is to take place on Thursday, 16 January 2020 at Hilton Park Hotel, Nicosia. The Cyprus FinTech Expo 3.0 is a one-day event that combines a wide variety of presentations in a conference setting and an exposition of the latest disrupting technologies in the world of financial services. Open banking, Digital signature, Digital payments, RegTech, Cloud adoption, the Future of FinTech and Psychology of the Customer are among topics to be presented at the Cyprus FinTech Expo 3.0.

 

This year’s Expo will welcome experts in the field of FinTech from both Cyprus and abroad who will share their knowledge and expertise and present the industry’s new trends. One of this year’s speakers is Lefteris Anastasakis, Senior Sales Director of PRIORITY. He will talk about the GRC Software Platform and how necessary, or not, it is for businesses. Lefteris Anastasakis is a chemist, with MBA in Economics. For 27 years, he holds managerial positions in multinational companies, in production plants and in the corporate headquarters, mainly in HR and in the adaptation of Greek businesses to European legislation. As a representative of SEV (Greek Employers’ Association), he participates in various BoDs of state organizations. He is a certified DPO (Data Protection Officer) for the GDPR Regulation.

 

Another remarkable speaker of this year’s Expo is Fouad Chaarani, Managing Partner of Xenatus Global, whose speech is entitled ‘Leading Digital Business Transformation through Integrated Service-Based Platforms’. Chaarani is an experienced leader, with proven expertise in strategic planning, execution and tactical problem-solving, coupled with deep business expertise and a proven track-record within the Financial Services, Maritime, Construction, Retail, Distribution, Media & Entertainment, Petrol, Oil & Gas, Software industries, among others. He has led highly efficient international organizations and Fortune 100 client engagements with onshore, nearshore and offshore divisions straddling the USA, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia.
