Professional Services Sector: A Step towards the New Economic Cycle

Professional Services Sector: A Step towards the New Economic Cycle

IMH and the Cyprus Fiduciary Association are organizing the Cyprus Professional Services Conference on Friday, 17th November 2017 at the Hilton Park Hotel Nicosia. The conference will focus on bringing together the leaders of the tertiary sector of the Cypriot economy as well as international experts, to present and discuss the latest developments and trends in the field.

The Forum will provide an overview of the international developments in wealth management of high net worth and ultra high net worth individuals, through the overview of international tax trends and transfer pricing. In addition there will be an analysis of private India Clients as India is an emerging financial powerhouse, by Mr. Homi Mistry, partner with Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP in Mumbai, India.

In addition to the above, the Forum aims to analyze international and local data that have defined the Professional Services sector in recent years. Whilst still dealing with the aftermath of the most recent global financial crisis with the burden of non-performing loans on banks’ capitalization as well as the large number of real estate assets on offer, Cyprus is moving towards a new period of economic growth and a new economic cycle. The strategic position of the island in relation to the fact that it is a member state of the EU, the Legal and Competitive Tax System it has developed, as well as its well-trained workforce, are only some of the factors that make Cyprus an ideal business destination. Cyprus is recognized as an international centre of excellence for the provision of professional services and this year’s event wants to provoke constructive thinking within the local sector to help maximize the industry’s potential.

This year’s forum aims to stimulate the exploration of new opportunities within the professional services field in Cyprus, especially in the tax, transfer pricing and wealth management of HNWI sectors. By welcoming various international experts from several emerging economic powerhouses around the globe, the forum aims to provide its audience with a fresh outlook on how to develop their professional services and how to adapt to the ever-changing needs of their customers..

The 4th Professional Services Forum will bring together banking and financial institutions, accounting/audit/tax companies, asset management, investment companies and law firms, as well as various international Financial Centre Executives.

*Full attendance of the forum may receive a maximum of 3 CPD Units (Valid only for local delegates)
