EY Cyprus Launches People Advisory Services to Better Serve the Local People Services Market

EY Cyprus Launches People Advisory Services to Better Serve the Local People Services Market

EY Cyprus announces the launch of People Advisory Services (PAS), an integrated practice that combines expertise from HR advisory and tax, aiming to deliver insight and innovation on people, organizational and compliance issues.

As a global professional leader in the services sector, EY realizes that the future of work is changing and recognizes the scale and complexity of how and where people work. Operating in 76 countries with more than 10,000 EY practitioners globally, EY’s PAS aims to offer enhanced end-to-end approaches to help organizations solve difficult people-related business challenges. Looking at people as part of an integrated business strategy, it can help organizations gain a competitive workforce advantage. EY works globally to help companies address complex issues relating to organizational transformation and growth, end-to-end employee life cycles, effective talent deployment and mobility, and the changing role of HR.

Panayiotis Thrasyvoulou has been appointed Head of PAS in Cyprus. He recently joined EY after working for 11 years as Human Resources Manager in diverse groups of companies, as well as founding and running his own consulting firm for 3 years.  He is a certified Quality Manager, a certified Trainer and assessor of renowned psychometric tests and he currently serves as the President of the Cyprus Human Resources Management Association (CyHRMA). Mr Thrasyvoulou says:

“I firmly believe that the establishment of People Advisory Services reflects the current market needs and will help us meet our client’s requirements for integrated services, thus further enhancing EY’s reputation as a leading professional services organization in Cyprus. The diversity of our talent, global connectivity and collaborative philosophy means we’re inspired to ask better questions to help organizations design better outcomes, deliver long-lasting results and achieve a competitive advantage.”

Stavros Pantzaris, EY Cyprus Country Managing Partner, says:

“It is with great pleasure that we welcome Panayiotis Thrasyvoulou and the PAS team in the EY Cyprus family. We see an increasing need for integrated People Advisory Services as rapid developments in the workplace, globalisation, technological innovation and increased regulation, push organizations to pay great emphasis on getting the right people, with the right capabilities, in the right positions, doing the right things at the appropriate cost, so as to achieve a competitive advantage.”
