‘Get a Job’ Fair 2019

‘Get a Job’ Fair 2019

The ‘Get a Job’ Fair will once again take place in Cyprus on Thursday, November 28, 2019, at Carob Mill Complex, Limassol, between 10am-7pm. It is organised by the Representation of the European Commission in Cyprus and EURES network. The fair’s main objective is to help decrease the levels of youth unemployment by informing young people about all existing opportunities and by offering concrete vacancies with employers from Cyprus and Europe. Participants will also be offered the chance to learn about available traineeships, voluntary work, education and employment mobility opportunities. In addition, the fair incorporates two separate workshops, in Greek and English, targeted at young people, so as to provide them with CV writing advice tips, guide them through successful interview skills and advise them on how to register at the Public Employment Service. Moreover, the Public Employment Service, the European Commission Representation in Cyprus and EURES network, will organise a series of one-day workshops across Cyprus dedicated to youth in order to upgrade their horizontal labour market skills.

Young people not in education or training, higher education graduates and postgraduate students, as well as those who are currently unemployed and looking for a job should not miss this event.

Exhibitors will have the opportunity to network with new young talent and potential future employees, as well as, benefit from networking opportunities with other European and local institutions that work with unemployed people, graduates and more generally, jobseekers. At the same time, participants will have the opportunity to network with potential future employers, meet them in person, discuss current available employment opportunities and even have one-to-one interviews. EURES network have confirmed participation with advisors from their offices in Germany, Italy, Finland, Spain, Greece and Czech Republic.

If your business is looking for a new talent to employ, then don’t miss the chance to participate at the “Get a Job” fair and benefit from a communication campaign that has been meticulously designed under the scope of this event. For more information, please click here.
