Elias Neocleous: The Significance of Technology

Elias Neocleous highlighted at the 10th Limassol Economic Forum the issues shaping the agenda of business leaders on the professional services.

Firstly, the increasingly sophisticated client demands then the loss of privacy; the divide between public and private persona has gone. Also, the changing Technology which is already employed everywhere. Elias Neocleous pointed out how significant technology is to the professional services sector.  

Technology is an enabler reinventing the way business is done; Business enhanced by technology will be a superior product. It enables the business to staying ahead of competition through innovation and differentiation. Also through technology low-end services can be replaced by self-service platforms or will become commoditized. According to Elias Neocleous it’s a win-win scenario for firms and their clients as highly complex tasks and processes will be simplified through technology. However, he concluded by saying that bespoke technologies are great but not enough; innovation should be about being efficient. Companies need to improve their business models through adoption of lean and agile pricing because clients want bespoke services that are of high quality, high content and created at high speeds.
