Borys Humeniuk: Tourism an Important Sector for Further Cooperation between Cyprus and Ukraine

Borys Humeniuk: Tourism an Important Sector for Further Cooperation between Cyprus and Ukraine

Borys Humeniuk, Ambassador of Ukraine, spoke exclusively to Gold about the cooperation between Cyprus and Ukraine in many areas and in particular regarding business. The bilateral relationship established between the two countries marks its 25th anniversary.

He spoke about the importance of strengthening those ties and what could be done to improve them in the forthcoming bilateral meeting between the two countries. Humeniuk emphasized the importance of tourism between Cyprus and Ukraine and described it as a promising sector that will enable the strengthening of economic relations.

Humeniuk also mentioned that major reforms that have been implemented in recent years in Ukraine have resulted in the improvement of the economic situation despite the problems facing the country with the Russian occupation of Crimea. He compared the feelings of the Ukrainian people after three years of the Russian invasion with those of the Cypriots towards the Turkish invasion.
