Andreas Pishias: CIBA’s New General Secretary

Andreas Pishias: CIBA’s New General Secretary

The Cyprus International Business Association (CIBA) has announced the recruitment of Andreas Pishias as its General Secretary, as of 18th February 2019.

Pishias, has extensive multi-country experience having worked with international research agencies as well as major multinationals both in Europe and the Middle East throughout his professional 20-year career.

He brings into CIBA an international mindset, being able to relate with both our association members and local stakeholders.

As General Secretary, his primary aim will be to represent CIBA members’ interest in all levels as formulated by the Association’s Executive Committee.

Of equal importance will be the increased forging of the relationship between CIBA and its members. CIBA’s relevance as an association depends on its ability to capture the needs of its members and represent them as well as offering solutions where possible through its members’ network. This is a task which as General Secretary he will be asked to carry out on an ongoing basis.

In representing members' interests, Andreas values the input and contribution of ideas that form the basis of cooperation between CIBA and other cooperating Governmental and Non-profit organizations. As General Secretary he looks forward to personally meeting various stakeholders to discuss how to further enhance the cooperation.
