IMH is organising the digital event “2nd Cyprus Forex Summit” on Thursday, 8 April 2021. Distinguished speakers from Cyprus and abroad will present the latest market trends, discuss major issues of concern to FX professionals, explore new technology capabilities, review successful client acquisition strategies for Forex brokers and much more.

Among the speakers is Omar Arnaout, the Chief Executive Officer of X-Trade Brokers in Poland. Omar first started working at XTB in January 2007. He started off his career at the company in the Sales Department and later went on to hold the position of Deputy Director at XTB Romania and XTB Italy. Between 2012 and 2014 he moved to Noble Securities S.A. where he worked as the Director of Foreign Branches, before returning back to XTB in 2014. Prior to becoming the group’s CEO, he also held the positions of xStore CEO, UK Retail Sales Director and Regional Director for Poland, Hungary, Germany and Romania. Since March 2017 he is also acting as the President of the company’s Management Board.

In his presentation, Omar will discuss the role of technology in the investment industry and its impact of technological innovation on investing. He will make a case of how companies flourish as technology progresses over time by discussing XTB’s own journey to embracing technological innovation.
