MTN TV: MTN Presents its New Service

MTN presented its new service, MTN TV on Wednesday, April 5th at Barrafino where guests had the opportunity to learn more about MTN TV, its content and interactive features. Guests included media representatives as well as other associates.

Philip Van Dalsen, CEO of MTN Cyprus, stated during his welcoming note:

“MTN is growing day by day [and] because we have created a tradition of technology and innovation, we couldn’t announce that we are entering the TV game without being a step ahead from the competition. In addition to the MTN TV at home, we give our customers a chance to enjoy MTN TV on the go, with the application TV Go, offered for free to our subscribers to their tablets and their smartphones, so they can enjoy a great selection of content wherever they are.”

Vasilis Papadopoulos, Senior Manager of Innovation – New Business Development of MTN, followed with a detailed presentation of the services and content of MTN TV.

MTN TV offers a TV experience with over 40 local and international channels in two different packs, both available at superb prices.

Specifically, the Standard Pack is priced at €9.90 per month and includes 41 local and international channels, while the Complete Pack, available for €19.90 per month, includes 54 local and international channels, among them all Novacinema and Novasports channels.

Furthermore, with TV Go, MTN TV subscribers can also enjoy their favourite content from selected channels outside the home, on their tablet or smartphone, by downloading the free app which is available for both iOS and Android devices. Besides this, TV Go offers Multiview functionality, since it allows MTN TV subscribers to watch different channels on two devices simultaneously.

Additionally, with the Record function, subscribers are able to record up to 20 hours of their favourite programmes to be viewed at a later time, whereas the Replay function allows users to rewind a channel, up to 7 days back and watch their favourite shows. Both functions are available for selected local and international channels.

For more information visit an MTN Store or selected retailers in all cities.

All information related to MTN TV, along with answers to “Frequently Asked Questions” is available at www.mtntv.com.cy which has been specially created in order to provide all relevant information as well as featured selections from MTN TV’s vast selection of movies, TV series and kids programmes as well as sports events.
