Decentralized Chapter Nicosia Aims to Raise Awareness on Blockchain Technology

As part of the University of Nicosia’s vision of creating a global decentralized network of chapters that share the same passion in relation to Blockchain Technology and its applications, the Decentralized Chapter Nicosia is organizing open lectures and presentations on related subjects.

The Chapter is focused on the spreading of awareness and technical expertise to its members and to the broader community in relation to Blockchain Technology. This is currently being achieved through presentations from industry relevant people, publications of articles, circulating of relevant content to the members, support for start-ups in the sector, and modelling of own proofs of concept.

The Chapter is holding meetings for its members but also open to the general public every other Wednesday at the University of Nicosia premises (UNESCO Room) . The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, 17th of April at 7.00pm where 2 presentations are expected to take place.

Moreover, Kyriakos Aristide, being the vice-president of the Decentralized Chapter Nicosia will be delivering his presentation titled Blockchain Economics.
