Cypriot Companies VTS/VSS EPE Chosen to Provide Services to Israel’s Natural Gas Fields

The fleet and the modern means of preventing and dealing with marine pollution incidents, owned by the Cypriot VTS / VSS EPE companies of the Vasiliko Terminal Services Ltd group, are now undertaking the provision of specialized services for the work carried out in Israel's natural gas fields. The consultations that have taken place lately have been successful, while paving the way for an extremely important cooperation.

According to Group Chief Executive Officer Yiannos Lakkotrypis, this collaboration highlights the multifaceted role that Cyprus can play in the wider Mediterranean region and in particular in the provision of services in the field of exploitation of hydrocarbon deposits. "As a company we provide services to oil giants operating in the Eastern Mediterranean region. The high level of technology and readiness combined with the well-trained staff of the company paves the way for us to participate in the work being carried out in the EEZ of Israel, " Lakkotrypis said.

It is noted that the extraction of natural gas deposits in Israel has been undertaken by the Greek group, Energean Oil & Gas Group.
