AXIA Ventures Group Named ‘Best Investment Bank – Greece’

AXIA Ventures Group Named ‘Best Investment Bank – Greece’

AXIA Ventures Group, a leading regional investment banking group with a strong presence and franchise in Greece, has been named, for the second time since 2015, “Best Investment Bank – Greece” by the prestigious Euromoney Awards of Excellence 2018.

AXIA was recognized for its dominant position in the Greek market, witnessed by its ability to execute many transactions in Greece across a broad range of sectors and deal structures helping along the way the country’s return to growth. Indicatively, the Company held leading roles in corporate restructurings, private placements, accelerated bookbuild offerings, bond offerings and M&A advisory mandates.

For almost 50 years, Euromoney has been the leading publication covering the growth of international finance. Over the past 12 months, its coverage has included interviews with close to 100 bank CEOs, ministers of finance and central bank governors around the world. The Euromoney Awards for Excellence were established in 1992 and were the first of their kind in the global banking industry. This year, Euromoney received almost 1,500 submissions from banks in an awards program that covers 20 global awards, more than 50 regional awards, and best bank awards in close to 100 countries.

The official results were announced yesterday evening in a prestigious gala ceremony at the London Hilton Park Lane Hotel, which was attended by the elite of the global banking society. AXIA’s founding partners received proudly the award, making AXIA the only investment bank in Greece outside bulge bracket firms to have ever received it. The award was dedicated to their families and of course to the heart of the Company that made the award possible, its employees!

Antonios Achilleoudis, Group Managing Director and Founding Partner of AXIA, stated: “This year, AXIA celebrates its 10th year anniversary and it is a great pleasure to receive once again the “Best Investment Bank – Greece” award by Euromoney. Our core values of “clients first”, our people and the many ground breaking deals in Greece and our other markets, sets us apart and we are delighted to see our efforts being recognized through such a prestigious award. We remain committed in providing the best quality services to our clients and preserving the long-term relationship we have with them based on trust and real value.”
