2nd Cyprus Blockchain Summit: Transforming The Supply Chain With Blockchain

2nd Cyprus Blockchain Summit: Transforming The Supply Chain With Blockchain

Due to the complexity and lack of transparency of our current supply chains, there is interest in how blockchain technology could totally transform the supply chain and the logistics industry. So what exactly is blockchain and how it could revolutionize the supply chain? What are some of the examples of blockchain use in the industry? Find out more at the 2nd Cyprus Blockchain Summit presented by IMH, on Thursday, 10 September 2020, from 12pm to 14:15pm. This is a digital event addressed to forward-thinking organisations that are open to the potential of blockchain and the positive impact it could have on their business.

Priya Guliani, Head of Operations at Government Blockchain Association UK, will present on how to empower the supply chain through technology, in order to make it more sustainable, compliant, traceable and inclusive. Priya Guliani, a computer science engineer by background, took a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) leadership course and a blockchain strategy course with Said Business School, Oxford University. She has over 10 years of IT consulting experience working with multiple teams across the US, India, and the UK in domains such as supply chain, manufacturing, etc.

Peter Busch, Product Owner DLT Mobility at Robert Bosch Group Germany, will present a real case study of blockchain technology use in the supply chain: the Bosch Blockchain Strategy. How is Bosch tackling blockchain challenges and which uses are the most suitable in mobility to address upcoming new technologies like the Internet of Things, AI and DLT? Peter Busch works on future connectivity strategies for the Mobility Business Units of the Bosch Group and as consultant for the Executive Board. He has 25+ years of experience in international project management, coaching and training in SW/HW development. He received his degree in computer science and business administration from the University of Mannheim and has worked for his own SW Startup, JP Morgan, Sun Microsystems and the BOSCH Group.
