Shipping Deputy Minister and Shipping Chamber President Discuss Ways of Enhancing Cooperation

The recently elected President of the Cyprus Shipping Chamber, Philippos Philis had an official courtesy meeting with the Shipping Deputy Minister, Natasa Pilides on  July 15 at the Shipping Deputy Ministry, the Cyprus News Agency reports.

According to a press release, during the meeting, the Chamber’s President and the Deputy Minister discussed the current policy issues affecting the Cyprus Shipping Industry and opportunities to further enhance the already close cooperation between the Chamber and the Deputy Ministry, for the benefit of Cyprus Shipping.

Both Pilides and Philis expressed their commitment to further intensify cooperation between the Chamber and the Deputy Ministry, based on the matters discussed.

In view of the new Presidency, the Chamber is organising a number of official courtesy meetings with government and state officials, within the framework of a strategic plan which aims to the further promotion of the Cyprus Shipping Industry’s interests, as it is noted.
