Public Sector Salaries Range from €1,271 to €7,320

The top monthly salary in the public sector as of January 1, 2020, is €7,320 and goes to those in management and at the highest level of the A16 scale. Basic annual earnings, excluding the 13th salary are €86,740, In-Cyprus reports.

 

Latest released figures on the payroll that will apply to civil servants in 2020 also shows that the A1 scale monthly wage in the starting tier is €1,271, with an annual pay increment of €73 and annual salary at €15,247, excluding the 13th salary.

 

At this scale’s top tier, the annual earnings are €17,401 and monthly salary is €1,450. Public servants on the A2 scale start with an annual increase of €92 and a monthly salary of €1,275 while in the upper tier the salary is € 1,565.

 

At the highest level of the A3 scale the monthly salary is € 1,793. In the intermediate scales, civil servants’ salaries are higher. For example, at A6 scale in the initial tier the monthly salary is €1,692 and the annual increase is €1,040.

 

At the top tier the salary is €2,741 monthly and the annual €32,894. At A7 scale the starting salary is €1,911 with an annual increase of €1,146.

 

At the top tier the monthly salary is €2,867 and €34,399 the annual. For civil servants on the A7 scale (ii) the maximum salary is €3,058 and their annual earnings €36.692. For civil servants on the A8 scale, the monthly starting salary is €2,068 with an annual increase of €1,212.

 

At the top tier of the scale, civil servants have a monthly salary of €3,179 and an annual one of € 38.145 excluding the 13th salary. On the A8 scale (ii) at the top tier the monthly salary is €39,358.

 

Civil servants on the initial level of A8 (iii) scale have a monthly salary of €2,068 as of January 1 and an annual increase of €1,212.

 

At the top tier the salary is €3,381 monthly and €40,570 the annual one excluding the 13th salary. At the initial level of the A9 scale the monthly salary is €2,567 with an annual increase of €1,486.

 

At the highest scale the monthly salary is €3,557. At the highest level of A9 scale (ii) the monthly salary is €3,681 and at the A9 scale (iii) is €3,805.

 

At the A10 scale’s initial tier the monthly salary is €2,893 and €1,660 the annual increase. At the highest level the salary is €4,000. At the initial tier of the A10 (ii) scale the salary is €2,893 and €1,660 the annual increase.

 

At the top tier the monthly salary is €4,138 and the annual one, including the 13th salary, is at €49,658. At the top of the A10 scale (iii) the salary is €4,276.

 

At the highest level of the A11 scale the monthly salary is €4,527, the A11 scale (ii) is €4,803 and the A11 scale (iii) is €4,941. At the top of the A12 scale the salary is € 5,038, the A12 (ii) is €5,392 and the A12 (ii) is €5,550.

 

At the initial level of the A13 scale the salary is €4,495 and at the highest it is €5,595. At the top tier of the A14 scale the salary is €6,061 and at the A14 (ii) it is € 6,476. At A15 the salary is up to €7,009.
