Price Index for Construction Materials Declines Marginally in June

Price Index for Construction Materials Declines Marginally in June

The Price Index of Construction Materials fell marginally in June compared with the previous month, but continued its upward trend on a year on year basis, Cyprus Statistical Service (Cystat) has said.

According to Cystat, the Price Index of Construction Materials for June 2019 reached 101,48 units (base year 2015=100,00), recording a decrease of 0.05% compared to May 2019.

Compared with May 2014, the Index recorded an increase of 0.97%, marking an annual increase for the sixth consecutive month in 2019.

For the period January - June 2019, the index recorded an increase of 1,48% compared to the same period of 2018, Cystat added.
