Petroleum Products Sales Down In November

Petroleum products sales fell on a monthly basis by 1.4% in November but recorded an increase of 2.8% for the first 11 months of the year compared to the same period of 2016, data released by the Cyprus Statistical Service show on Wednesday 27 December, the Cyprus News Agency reports.

The total sales of petroleum products in November 2017 recorded a drop of 1.4% compared to the previous month.

A decline was observed in the provisions of aviation kerosene, as well as in the sales of motor gasoline and gasoil low sulphur.

On the other hand, an increase was recorded in the sales of kerosene, gasoil, asphalt, liquefied petroleum gases and heavy fuel oil, as well as in the provisions of gasoil for marine use.

The total stocks of petroleum products at the end of the month recorded a drop of 0.8% compared to the previous month.

During the period January – November 2017, the total sales of petroleum products recorded an increase of 2.8% compared to the same period of the previous year.
