Martin Wolf At The 11th Limassol Economic Forum

IMH and IN Business magazine are proud to present the 11th Limassol Economic Forum on Friday, 30 October 2020 at the Four Season’s Hotel in Limassol, Cyprus.* This much anticipated annual event engages political, economic, business and academic leaders alike in wide-ranging presentations that aspire to become a platform for debate as a means to help improve the current regional economic climate.

Managing a corporation has never been easy but CEOs and corporate leaders all over the world are virtually unanimous in their belief that their job has become much harder and far more complicated in recent years, with today’s global business scene being characterized by a worryingly high level of unpredictability. The objective of the 2020 Limassol Economic Forum is to help corporate leaders, CEOs, Managers and Board Members deal with the inevitable changes that are being forced upon them and to turn every challenge into an opportunity for betterment.

This year’s keynote speaker is the Chief Economics Commentator and Associate Editor at the Financial Times, Martin Wolf. He was awarded the CBE in 2000 for his “services to financial journalism” and has authored numerous highly regarded books on globalisation. He was a member of the UK government’s Independent Commission on Banking (2010-2011) and a senior economist for ten years at the World Bank’s division of international trade. Martin has an unparalleled voice on the economic relationships underlying our complex financial systems, what we can learn from them, and what lies ahead for Europe, the US, and the rest of the world. In his keynote, Martin will discuss the current trends in the global economy and offer an economic outlook for Europe in the next decade.

The Forum will be conducted in English. For more information regarding the event, click here.

The Limassol Economic Forum attracts the decision makers such as the Board Members, CEOs, CFOs, Managing Directors and other senior management executives from all the major corporations in Cyprus and abroad. The Forum also welcomes politicians, diplomats, other government officials, but also entrepreneurs, academics and other international experts on political and economic issues.
