450+ fund and asset managers from around the globe at the 4th International Funds Summit

Cyprus is one of the fastest-growing investment fund centres in the region, as its financial services sector is strong, and legislative and regulatory needs can easily be met. In recent years, Cyprus has developed into a competitive jurisdiction in the funds industry, as it has become a one-stop shop, offering a full range of services from licensing to ongoing administration. The 4th International Funds Summit, set to take place 11-13 November at Hilton Park Hotel in Cyprus, welcomes leading fund managers and administration specialists to evaluate the changing competitive landscape in the asset management services sector while collectively addressing international standardization, regulatory and legal compliance criteria and challenges. The Summit is organized by the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA) and IMH, supported by International Capital Market Association (ICMA) and Invest Cyprus, and takes place under the patronage of the President of the Republic.

The summit will host over 450+ investment professionals and asset managers from Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, Asia, Russia and the USA. Senior expert speakers, including representatives from international law firms, EFAMA and members of international fund industry associations and fund/asset managers will be present at the Summit to express their views on the current status of the funds industry.

The summit will feature the following sessions:
• Regulatory Developments in Cyprus
• Current Developments in the Funds Industry
• Alternative Investment Funds
• Key Considerations Relating to the Formation and Operations of Family Office by Fund Managers
• Africa and Middle East
• Brexit
• The Fintech Revolution – Blockchain Cyber Security
