The European Court of Arbitration Organises the Mediterranean & Middle East Conference at UCLan

The European Court of Arbitration and Mediation Cyprus Chapter is organising the Annual Mediterranean & Middle East Conference (Med-Mid XII), which will take place at the University of Central Lancashire Cyprus (UCLan Cyprus) on Friday 26th October 2018 at 9:00am – 6:30pm. The event will be organised by the European Court of Arbitration in collaboration with its Cyprus Chapter and the University of Central Lancashire Cyprus (UCLan Cyprus).

The title of the event will be "Which requirements are to be considered for the selection of the seat of international arbitral proceedings?".

The speakers will include Mauro Rubino Sammartano, President of the European Court of Arbitration and Mediation, Yiannos Georgiades as Chairman of the Cyprus Chapter, Prof. Stéphanie Laulhé-Shaelou as Deputy Chairman of the Cyprus Chapter and Judge George Arestis, Former Judge at the Court of Justice of the European Union.
