Save The Date: 6th International Compliance Forum

IMH is proud to announce the 6th International Compliance Forum which will run online on 24-25 September 2020. The event is intended as a platform to help facilitate discussions on the benefits of compliance management in business and more importantly, the return on investment of compliance. More specifically, this year’s forum will discuss the latest developments and trends in corporate governance, and the current challenges facing the global compliance and ethics community.

Over the last few years, the compliance function has been undergoing rapid transformation, impacted by new complex regulatory controls, technological disruptions such as Artificial Intelligence and cryptocurrencies, and malicious threats including cybercrime and data breaches. The torrent of new complex regulations has brought with it a huge shift in regulatory approach and intent. To ensure maximum adherence to these, industry leaders are starting to source new ways of addressing the various challenges they face in the most cost- and resource-efficient ways. The next decade is expected to bring with it many challenges for compliance professionals. As such, the compliance function will be called to be more proactive and anticipate the developments that lie ahead so as to be better equipped to respond effectively to these challenges, to build on the capabilities of their compliance function and ultimately add real value to their business. It comes as no surprise then that the compliance function is entering a new phase of maturity with a growing focus on providing strategic value to the business, with compliance now having a more active role in corporate management.

With the above in mind, this year’s forum will focus on the challenges and opportunities that are expected to revolutionize the compliance function over the next decade. The 6th International Compliance Forum will welcome a number of high calibre international speakers who will discuss how the compliance function has progressed over the years, and exchange views on how organisations can use their compliance function to enable change and offer their business the competitive advantage it needs.

Full participation corresponds up to 5 CPD units. For more information regarding the event, please click here.
