Regulatory Developments in the Funds Industry in Europe

The funds industry, around the globe, is constantly evolving as new requirements keep coming in to play and their implementation immediately begins. The funds industry is constantly being challenged and criticized therefore there is a heavy regulatory agenda forcing all parties to remain compliant. In addition to that, new technologies appear constantly and there is struggle to remain informed. The 3rd International Funds Summit set to take place on 30-31 October at GrandResort Hotel in Limassol, organized by the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA) and IMH, supported by International Capital Market Association (ICMA) and Invest Cyprus (CIPA), and takes place under the patronage of the President of the Republic has been meticulously structured with the professionals’ needs and wants in mind, providing them with the opportunity to debate the latest developments and what they mean for the funds industry.

The first panel of the Summit will specifically discuss the Regulatory Developments in Europe and it will review the main regulatory framework surrounding the fund industry. The European investment management industry will be examined and all legal and regulatory developments impacting the local and the European fund industry will be evaluated by EFAMA, Cyprus, Luxembourg, UK, Germany and France.
