GOLD Magazine: Maritime Cyprus 2019

Shipping is a huge global industry and one in which Cyprus plays a remarkably large role. One of the most important gatherings of the global shipping community is the biennial Maritime Cyprus conference, which this year takes place in Limassol on October 6-9.

The cover story of the latest issue of GOLD (out on Sunday, September 15) is devoted to Maritime Cyprus 2019, and includes interviews with some of the organisers and participants. They include the Deputy Minister of Shipping, Natasa Pilides and Permanent Secretary Costas Iacovou, the Chairman of the International Chamber of Shipping, Esben Poulsson, the Director of Port XL, Cees-Willem Koorneef, the President and Director-General of the Cyprus Shipping Chamber, Philippos Philis and Thomas Kazakos respectively, and the President of the Cyprus Union of Shipowners, Andreas Hadjiyiannis.

For much more on Maritime Cyprus 2019, as well as a host of other features and articles, don’t miss the next issue of GOLD magazine, available from Sunday, September 15 in both print and digital versions. At 144 pages, it’s the biggest-ever issue!
