GOLD Magazine: Justice Delayed is Justice Denied

GOLD Magazine: Justice Delayed is Justice Denied

The cover story of the latest issue of GOLD magazine looks into the reasons why the Cypriot legal system, which is based on English Common Law principles and is frequently cited as one of the country’s key advantages over its competitors when it comes to attracting foreign companies, fails to operate efficiently and appears to be the weakest link in the infrastructure supporting the island’s longstanding efforts to establish itself as a regional business centre.

Several key officials involved in the Cyprus justice system – Minister of Justice Ionas Nicolaou, Attorney-General Costas Clerides and the President of the Cyprus Bar Association, Doros Ioannides, among others – present their own views, recommendations and potential solutions to the problems afflicting the way justice is dispensed in Cyprus.

Also, read in issue 72 of GOLD Magazine, exclusive interviews from Dr Andreas Pittas, Founder of Medochemie, Riley Newman, Data Science Executive of Airbnb and Gregory Dellas who talks about his new responsibilities in his new role as Director, Wealth & Markets at Bank of Cyprus.

Don’t miss issue 72 of GOLD magazine, out on Sunday, March 19.
