GOLD Magazine: Digital Transformation

As technology continues to play an increasingly important role in our daily lives, thanks to the Internet, smartphones and the coming 5G network, its impact on the business world has become even greater. The growth, efficiency and sustainability of private companies and organisations in the public sector now depend, to a huge extent, on a firm commitment to Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things, Robotic Automation, advanced analytics and more. But what is now widely known as digital transformation actually means much more than investing in the latest technology: it requires a new mindset.

The cover story of the latest issue of GOLD (available everywhere from Sunday, March 15) looks at how Cypriot businesses are dealing with the 4th Industrial revolution and adapting to change, through interviews with the leaders of some of the country’s biggest companies in a variety of sectors. Additionally, representatives of the enablers and advisors on digital transformation share their own views and experiences and the newly appointed Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, Kyriacos Kokkinos, explains what the Government is doing to take the country into the digital era.

This month’s GOLD also includes exclusive interviews with Anna Protopapas, a Boston-based Cypriot entrepreneur with numerous successes in the US and Andreas Adamides, founder and CEO of the London-based startup CatchApp Don’t miss the latest issue of GOLD, which is available from Sunday, March 15 in both print and digital versions.
