DP World Limassol is dedicated to promoting the development of tourism in Cyprus and driving economic benefits for both the local and national economy. On May 3rd  2018, it inaugurated its brand-new cruise terminal, with the aim of enhancing Limassol’s position on the global cruise tourism map.

During the event, Charles Meaby thanked Invest Cyprus for selecting DP World Limassol and stated: “We are delighted to receive this award. To be recognised for our contribution in the Cypriot economy is a great honour for our team. It also constitutes a recognition to the dedicated efforts of our people at DP World Limassol in delivering excellent service and ensure customer satisfaction. We have managed to build a solid foundation since taking over operations at Limassol port and we are committed to continue making improvements that will stimulate sustainable growth while working towards establishing Cyprus as a key regional player.”

Meaby said that it is part of the Group’s legacy to infuse innovation throughout its operations and highlighted that DP World Limassol’s continuous investment in all areas of the port opens up new opportunities for the Cypriot economy. “We aim at developing high-quality trade-enabling solutions which will benefit the local and national economy, as well as the local community,” he added.
