Credit Risk Management and Best Practices

Credit Risk Management and Best Practices

Nicos Ioannou, Business Development Director at Infocredit Group, will be one of the speakers in the upcoming “Credit Risk Management Forum” which is being organized by Infocredit Group on 25 September 2019 at The Landmark Nicosia.

In his presentation “Credit Risk Management and Best Practices”, Nicos Ioannou will talk about how corporate failures have become more and more common in Cyprus in recent years, following the events leading up to the 2013 financial crisis. Being such a small economy, the collapse of a large or even a medium-sized enterprise is likely to cause substantial chain reactions in the market. Sound credit risk management therefore plays a pivotal role in an organization’s financial performance and represents one of the most important strategic tools for its sustainability, growth and profitability. It is therefore imperative for Cypriot companies to cultivate a culture of credit risk management which promotes certain procedures for mitigating credit risk.

Nicos Ioannou holds a degree in Business Administration and has more than 10 years’ experience in Credit Risk Management and Credit Insurance. He currently holds the position of Business Development Director at Infocredit Group. Nicos Ioannou is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM), the Credit Services Association (CSA) and has successfully achieved the Collectors Accreditation Initiative (CAI). Moreover, Nicos Ioannou is a certified mediator and board member of the Cyprus Mediation Association as well as a certified trainer by the Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus (HRDA).

The “Credit Risk Management Forum” will take place on 25 September 2019, 08:30-13:30, at The Landmark Nicosia (former Hilton Cyprus).
