Carrefour Stores to Rebrand after Sale to Sklavenitis

Carrefour Stores to Rebrand after Sale to Sklavenitis

French supermarket giant Carrefour – which has stores across the island is to be rebranded and change its name to Sklavenitis.

The change is underway, with many of the huge Carrefour neon signs already being removed from shop-fronts, Famagusta Gazette reports.

The company, which was owned by Marinopoulos group, was sold to Sklavenitis last year.

The new owners want to introduce a ‘culture of a family-run business’ at the shops, whilst keeping prices low, improving service and reorganising some of the floor space in stores.
