Alphamega Acropolis is all dressed up! Completely renovated and renewed, the hypermarket invites the public to shop at an incredibly welcoming environment and enjoy an upgraded shopping experience.
As part of its ongoing effort to offer a pleasant and contemporary shopping experience, the company decided to fully renovate its store in Acropolis, so that it is able to meet the constantly increasing needs and demands of the modern consumer.
The new layout allows for a relaxed stroll through the hypermarket’s aisles, while the addition of new shelves and larger refrigerators, brings out the wide variety of products, making it easier for visitors to make the best choice. At the same time, a rotisserie offering delicious homemade food has been added to the hypermarket, while visitors can enjoy moments of relaxation along with their lunch or coffee at the brand-new café. The fresh produce sections such as the grocery, butchery, fishmongers, bakery, and delicatessen, were also fully renovated.
Special emphasis was placed on digitally upgrading the hypermarket, as part of the company’s digital transformation strategy. With the addition of self-checkout points, visitors now have a self-service option, and are able to pay for their shopping without needing to queue, while the “digital signage” screens that were added, inform visitors on the current offers at each department, while they also update them on the café menu and other news. In order to make things easier for our customers, some of the screens are touch sensitive, in order to guide them through the choice of products they need.
