4th European and Structural Funds Conference
The 4th European and Structural Funds Conference will take place on 7 February 2018 at the Hilton Park Hotel in Nicosia, Cyprus.
 
The conference aims to provide advice, information and guidance to Cypriot companies as a means to help them implement their goals through European projects and Structural Funds. During the conference speakers will offer guidelines as to how SMEs can access funding from both European and national resources.
 
The conference will be conducted in Greek and relevant regulatory bodies will analyze the current situation and discuss future plans for absorption of funds by Cypriot companies. The objective is that during the 2014-2020 programming period a total of €300million will be absorbed by Cypriot businesses and organizations. 
 
Moreover, local SMEs that received funding from Horizon 2020 and Erasmus+ programs will share with the participants their knowledge and experience in writing, submitting and implementing a European project. 
 
More specifically, the following programs will be presented at the conference:
 
- HORIZON 2020 for SMEs
- Interreg for SMEs
- Life for SMEs
- Erasmus+ for SMEs
 
In addition, the following organizations will present the funding opportunities they offer:
 
- Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism Minister
- Cyprus Agricultural Payments Organization
- Human Resource Development Authority Cyprus
- Enterprise Europe Network Cyprus
- European Investment Bank
- Advice for Small Businesses Facility in Cyprus – EBRD
