The top 10 Cyprus hotel winners of the ‘HolidayCheck Awards 2020’ have been announced with the Crystal Springs Beach Hotel in Protaras taking the top spot followed by Aldiana Club Zyphern in Larnaca region.

The annual awards are based on nearly one million guest reviews on the German-owned online travel portal, along with strict selection criteria. Only the top 10 hotels in each country or region make the list.

For 2020, a total of 732 hotels in 38 countries have been selected to receive the award, along with an additional 188 that have been awarded ‘Gold’ status based on consistently ranking in the top 10 list for at least five years – including first place winner Crystal Springs.

The top 10 hotels for Cyprus are:

1st place: Crystal Springs Beach Hotel – Gold Award

2nd place: Aldiana Club Zypern – Gold Award

3rd place: TUI BLUE Pioneer Beach

4th place: Hotel Sunrise Beach

5th place: Napa Mermaid Hotel & Suites – Gold Award

6th place: Asterias Beach

7th place: Hotel Grecian Sands

8th place: Hotel Grecian Bay

9th place: Hotel Nissi Beach Resort

10th place: SENTIDO Sandy Beach

A representative of Crystal Springs, which is based overlooking Vrisoudia Bay, expressed the hotel’s delight in its top ranking.
