Extra Measures In Place For Limassol To Curb Spread Of Coronavirus

The Ministry of Health has announced further measures for the Limassol District, with catering establishments obliged to close at 22:30, in an effort to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

In a press release, the Ministry of Health says that the measure concerns restaurants, catering areas in hotels and other tourist establishments, taverns, cafeterias, pizza parlours, pubs, snack bars, bars, coffee shops, and canteens.

Furthermore, customers cannot be served directly at the bar of an establishment, which will be used solely for the preparation of beverages by the staff.

Delivery services, however, can continue after 22:30.

During their working hours, the catering establishments must observe all hygiene and health measures.
